The RUR have confirmed attendance at the following events (unless otherwise indicated). Dates may be subject to change.

Soviet Threat: Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker, Cheshire
As per last year, the RUR help ‘man’ the nuclear bunker. Barrack dress and lots of interaction with the public.

BAOR 1983. Numbers wanting to attend limited to 5 due to space. RUR taking part in main battle each day.
Capel Military Vehicle Show, Capel, Surrey
BAOR1983. This show has an excellent reputation and the organisers have asked to attend for the past 3 years. Let's make it happen.
War & Peace, The Hop Farm, Kent

Armourfest, Norfolk Tank Museum*

Military Vehicle Day, Brooklands Motor Museum, Surrey
NI 1983. As per 2017, the RUR will man a VCP and control room. Possibility of Stop and Search, VCP procedures etc
The above are all living history events and, as such, we are very strict on our appearance. No apologies if this sounds draconian but we get praise from everyone for the level of accuracy and uniformity in our presentation and we will always try and maintain this. For these events the emphasis in on uniformity – not in being ‘ally’.
For anyone wanting to participate in living history events as part of the RUR please ensure that your AFRA membership (or similar) is current.
